Funding for the IEA charities comes from all IEA members. Members support throughout the year by attending socials and activities, making crafts, supporting the International Christmas Charity Bazaar and supporting the pre-loved books table all raise money for IEA, a large portion of which goes towards our Charities Programme. |
The 2020 pandemic affected all our charities operations and funding streams. They suffered a dramatic decrease in donations while experiencing extraordinary strain on their programs. While IEA grants are typically used for specific programs and resources, in some cases the 2020 grants were utilized to help our charities keep their doors open and continue to provide services for their constituents.
